"Savannah's A1c Squad dressed up with an army theme, and did some warm up stretches with Bob the Builder to prep for the 4-mile JDRF Walk For a Cure (for Juvenile Diabetes) in Chicago on October 4. The team of 13 teenagers raised over $10,000 and we're extremely excited to be part of a great cause..with GREAT shirts too. "My family is a big into fishing and we have started to make it a tradition in making new shirts up every summer at the beach. This year we went with a camo color design which was a big hit. People keep asking if I have extras for purchase. I simply tell them next year....if you're lucking I get you one. The shirts were very easily made and delivered quickly. We relay for the three survivors on our team and the many friends and family that have been affected by cancer. Our event was June 12th our county, which is pretty small, raised $48,000.
