"The reason for creating the shirts is a sad one, however, the experience with Custom Ink and our celebration was wonderful. On March 3, 2012 we lost a beloved, brother, son, and friend Devin "Dick" Dickert to a car crash. He was loved by so many and we needed to have a way to celebrate his life. Devin was an avid outdoorsman; camping, kayaking, canoeing, hunting, biking...anything that involved being outdoors, he was there. It was decided that every year on Devin's birthday we (friends and family) would gather to have a weekend filled of good times, camping and floating on the river. This year we held the first annual "Dick Days" to celebrate Devin's all too short life. Because of the hilarious name (Dick Days) it was decided that we had to have T-shirts for the event as well. A family member had used custom ink in the past and had a wonderful experience with them, so we decided to create/design our shirts through them. They were amazing; professional and so nice! We had such a massive turn out for the weekend (around 60 people) that a second order of shirts had to be placed! Everyone LOVED the shirts! The colors were vibrant and everything was exactly as it should have been. They will give each and every person a way to remember "Dick" everytime they wear their shirt! Dick Days took place at Ohiopyle, PA on July 13, 14 and 15th 2012"
"The Epilepsy Foundation held a Seize the Day run. We created a team in support of my brother Paul, who has epilepsy. Unfortunately, we were unable to make it to the event because my brother started having uncontrollable seizures in the car on the way to the event. We ended up all going to the emergency room, which is where this picture was taken. This marked the Paul's third stay at the hospital in June. This picture was taken on June 16th at the St. Louis Children's Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri."

"This photo was taken at the 2012 northern nj walk now for autism speaks event. This is my family, and those who are effected by autism. My brother Tim who is on the top right has autism, and my nephew Zack, directly in front has also recently diagnosed. This was our first walk as a family fighting for a cure, and raising awareness. Our hope is to have every team member bring a friend along to our next event. We hope to continue our advocacy, and bring some light to this great project. "I am the 7th child of nine siblings. In 2010 we lost our oldest brother, David, to kidney cancer. To honor his memory most of David's siblings, a brother in law, sister in law, nieces and nephews run/walk the "I am Somebody 5K" which support the Kidney Cancer Association. It's a great way for our family to keep David's memory alive and support a great cause. This year's 5K was held on what would have been David's 53rd birthday. Happy Birthday David!!"
