"Ragnar SoCal 2013. Our six-person "ULTRA" Team ran 193 miles from Huntington Beach to San Diego between Friday, April 19 at 8am and Satuday, April 20 at 3:00pm. On average, each runner completed 33 miles in less than a 24 hour period. Our team name was "Like a Freak." This is a picture of us at the finish line on Saturday afternoon."

"This was taken at the 2013 Rotary All-Club luncheon in Bakersfield, CA on Thursday, April 4th. Our Mira Monte HS Interact Club proudly wore their new polos to the luncheon with over 200 Rotarians in attendance. Bakersfield Twilight Rotary Club supports MMHS Interact with scholarships, community service and professional support. Twilight Rotary Club offset 3/4 the costs of the polos for Interact Members with the remaining funds coming from a food sale the students conducted on campus. This was the first time that the MMHS Interact Club had shirts and they were very excited to wear them. CustomInk made the ordering process very easy. I was able to upload the Rotary Interact logo simply and provide sample designs and colors to the students to help decide what they wanted. All in all, our experience with CustomInk was very favorable and we'll definitely be using it again!"

"Steve Ruddy passed away on April 7, 2012 just as he was finishing a 10 mile run; he was almost home. Steve loved running and he played guitar and was passionate about music. When we heard that the Rock n Roll Half Marathon was coming to San Francisco for the first time, on April 7, 2013, we knew running or walking it was the right way to spend the day. Steve's dad, sisters, wife and many friends signed up (more tried to sign up but the race sold out too quickly!) to run. Another group of over 20 of Steve's friends took over an aid station, dressed in 80's rock outfits, and handed out water, gatorade and beer to thirsty runners. Any year that Steve didn't do the San Francisco marathon he was volunteering at an aid station. Unfortunately not everyone was in the group photo since some got the race start late and had to go straight to the start - 18 of us ran in honor of Steve. Someone running asked two of us which race our shirt was from since he hadn't seen it before, when we explained it he told us "that's really great, I actually feel his spirit with me right now" and he started running faster!"
