"A group of women - all alumni from Blackburn College - gathered to celebrate our friend Ellen (last row on the far right). A year ago, Ellen was diagnosed with Stage 4 Terminal Cancer. Today, she is cancer free and we celebrated by Zip Lining in Grafton, IL. We sailed above the tree tops and saw the Mississippi River in the distance. Another alum, Polly, designed these custom t-shirts for the day, picturing a woman jumping for joy against a background of layered print and paint - symbolizing the many layers we each have in our busy lives.

"Our team CustomInk T-shirts were for the Relay For Life in Medford, NJ on June 8th-9th. Our teams name is: TeamFightBack and that is because we're fighting back cancer until we end the fight. "I have multiple myeloma, a blood cancer for which there is no cure - at least not right now. Every year, we run the Race for Research, sponsored by the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF). 90% of every dollar raised goes directly to research that someday will lead to a cure for me and those of us with this cancer. This year, I had 42 team members, I received the Spirit of Hope Award, and we were the top fundraising team with just under $24,000! Woo-hoo! Here's to our team!! ""The Muddy Britches" did The Dirty Girl Run in Snohomish WA on Saturday, May 18th. It was a 5K through muddy obstacles, all to raise money for cancer research. We have a team of 8 women, 3 of whom are cancer survivors.

"I volunteered to get a team together to participate in school districts D230 yearly relay for life. My team spent weeks fundraising an planning. We stayed up all night may 10th and walked for the event. We had many people to donate this event to and it was a great turnout! We plan on doing this next year. It will be our third year in a row an our third year using custom ink. Its a great company and we refer it to many friends. We will definitely be using it again!"
