"Here are 4 cousins, best friends. These are my nieces and nephews. The three on the right are siblings, my younger sister's kids; the one on the right is my older sister's daughter. In 2011, after I took them to see the Harlem Globetrotters as a Christmas gift, they decided that they wanted to make an annual tradition out of it because they enjoyed it so much. Last year in 2012, Brittany, on the left, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia just after we went to see the Harlem Globetrotters in February (the other 2 on the right wore masks in support of Brittany having to wear one). Through this, we've come to realize how little is done for children with cancer between funding, research, and coming up with newer and more effective treatments, even cures. Brittany is now in remission, and her body became healthy enough just in time to get to the 2013 show! We (my sisters and I) thought it would be fitting for us to debut the shirts at this year's Globetrotters show, in hopes of raising awareness and getting people to start realizing that this is a serious problem! We must've caught "Handles" (in the picture with the kids) eye because he had security bring us onto the court afterwards to meet some of the players and take pictures! All 8 of us were wearing these shirts, but we only have the kids in the picture. My experience working with CustomInk was smooth and easy. Designing the shirts was simple, and they kept in contact with me constantly from beginning to end! They even donated to the Foundation set up for Brittany! I will definitely be ordering more shirts in the future as more people start requesting them. "
"On Saturday Oct 20th Team I support Connor walked in honor of Connor Martin a 2 year old amazing boy battling a rare form of brain cancer called At/Rt. The walk helped raise money to find a cure for child hood cancer. Customink was wonderful to work with and fulfilled each and every order in a timely manner and our shirts looked great!"
"I am submitting this on behalf of my brother who worked with Matt Flood to create this shirt for my son. We ordered/sold over 400 shirts to family and friends from Florida to Maine to support Chris, Childhood Cancer, and the Children's Oncology Group (COG). They are worn by all with pride!! The submitted photo was taken on Oct. 14th, 2012 in Fairfax, Va at the CureSearch Walk for Children's cancer. It was my family, some dear friends and my brother, who organized the sale and order of the shirts. And on the top of the photo in the window is the "Captain", my son, who is my hero battling Wilms Tumor. Thank you for your consideration. We would love to order more!! You can see some of our supporters with their shirts on on our Facebook page-Chris' Crew."
"St. Baldrick's raises money for childhood cancer research at its fun and crazy head-shaving events. Here is the RED Octopus Crusaders Team at the Norfolk, VA event on March 19, 2011. ROC raised over $18,000!"
"Our daughter Kristen was diagnosed with leukemia in March of 2007. The treatments will end in June 2009. She is without a doubt a WINNER!!! This was taken at a walk in Atlanta."
"This photo was taken at the St. Baldrick's event in Norfolk, Virginia, on March 14, 2009. Our team, the RED Iron Octopus Crusaders, were the top team, raising over $35,000 to help fund childhood cancer research. The four photos on the back of the shirt are in honor of Ian and in memory of Nina, Krissy and Tommy."
