"This picture was taken at our local Relay for Life Event in Cheshire, CT on June 11th and 12th. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society and it is a HUGE community effort each year. Over 60 high school teams participate (ours being one of them) and typically raise $1000+. The lovely lady.. er, man in the picture is a close friend that agreed to get in a dress and collect donations with us at the event while taking laps around the track. "Coast Guard Academy Homecoming Weekend 2009, New London, CT. Members of the Class of 1994 marched on to the football field carrying their CustomInk umbrellas like rifles chanting the scene from Stripes. "It took a sad occasion to create a happy one. During the funeral of one of the Cahill elders, the cousins decided they wanted to have a reunion. It was scheduled for the first weekend in August at one of the cousin's home in Connecticut. Family came from as far away as Florida, up-state New York and Cape Cod.
