Ready to Rock & Roll by jimhallhdg - 7 months ago

Ready To Rock & Roll T-Shirt Photo

"A good story. Grandpa started giving music lessons to 4 of 7 grandsons in the picture in 2013. To offset the computer gaming time being wasted by the boys. The 13 yr old plays violin/mandolin, the 12 year old plays guitar, the twin 8 year olds play keyboard. I play guitar. I've been teaching the four the joy of making music and we can muddle through 10 songs - six popular songs from 2012-2013.. On Nov 1st we gave our first family concert and the 6 & 8 year old grandsons from my second son wanted to play too. So Christmas gifts this year were Custom Ink t-shirts, a bass guitar for the 13 yo, a distortion pedal for the 12yo, tamborine and a cajon for the twins (need som percussion) AND a keyboard and guitar for the new 6 yo & 8 yo. I gave a t-shirt to the 5 yo and we call him the singer. Band H stands either for Band Hall or if you say it fast enough Bandage which meets the 12 yo requirment for a 1 word band name. You may not notice the figure in the name has a bandaid accross his chest. I sure could use winning the contest to fund more musical stuff for the boys."
