For Pete's Sake by Colleen Burke Allison - about 1 month ago
"My father, Pete Burke, passed away suddenly in April. He lived at the beach in Brigantine, NJ, so we decided to have a seaside memorial/party for him in August. His 15 grandchildren, five children and over a hundred of his friends, neighbors and family attended the event. My dad was quite a philanthropist, and donated much of his time and business expertise to the LEAP Academy Charter School in Camden, NJ. After his passing, his workplace, friends and family started the Peter. J. Burke, Jr. Scholarship Fund at the charter school to help graduates fulfill their dream of going to college. We sold the shirts at my dad's memorial to raise money for the fund and to continue my his legacy. Hence, the motto on the shirt, "For Pete's Sake". Pictured in this photo are his grandchildren and great nieces and nephews. We took a few serious photos and then told them to be silly. It's much more fun to be silly, and their Pop-Pop would've loved it! The shirts were a huge hit. The process of designing them was simple and stress-free. We received them faster than I predicted. We plan to have this event each year to celebrate my dad's life. I will be designing a new shirt for each party, so we can continue raising money for the scholarship fund."

Grandpa Ham by Elizabeth - 3 months ago
"My grandpa passed away last month and we wanted to do something as a memorial to him. His grandchildren got together to watch his favorite team, the Oakland 's A's and wanted to show off what a dedicated fan he was and how much our time spent with him at baseball games mattered. Custom inked worked to make an incredibly right deadline and helped as we wrestled thru approval to use the official logo. Everyone really appreciated the shirts and I know out grandpa would have loved the spectacle of us in his team's colors. "

Family Fishing in Canada by CPIV - 10 months ago
"I have started creating custom T-shirts to commemorate our annual boys family fishing trips to Canada. My grandfather has been going to Canada fishing for over 35 years. My cousin on the far left is wearing our custom shirt from the year before. Oddly enough his shirt bears a picture of the three of them sitting on a rock needing to be rescued by Ontario PD hellicopter after a unplanned trip down the rapids and being stranded all day. My grandfather is 91 years old and will be going back this year for another go."
Run for Chuck - ING NYC Marathon by !!!RUN FOR CHUCK - ING NYC MARATHON!!! - 10 months ago
"This year I ran the ING New York City Marathon in memory of my grandfather who passed away in December after a long struggle with Alzheimer's after an otherwise very vibrant life. My family and friends who we're very impacted by the disease really enjoyed uniting around 'Run for Chuck' and raising money for Alzheimer's care. It was an unforgettable race and a great day with friends and family. I'm sure my grandfather enjoyed watching from up above. This shot is in central park close to the finish line after the race. "
Gummy's Gang walks to end Alzheimer's by Gummy's Gang - 11 months ago
"30 of our family member's got together in Wilmington, DE, to walk to end Alzheimer's. We lost the most fun loving grandfather (nicknamed Gummy) to Alzheimer's, so we all wanted to come out and support the cause in his memory. I couldn't have had a better experience working with CustomInk. Everyone was so friendly on the phone, the process was seamless, shirts turned out fabulous, and the best part was when CustomInk donated money to our team, helping us raise over $1,300! "
