Dodgeball for Charity! by Shannon - over 1 year ago

Dodgeball For Charity! T-Shirt Photo

"This photograph was taken before our young and ambitious team of 8 took the court for a dodgeball tournament in town. The tournament was held via the local fire dept., and the money raised helped aid the Dawn Lafferty Hochsprung Scholarship- a scholarship named in honor or the brave principal that put her own life on the line for the sake of her elementary school, in Sandy Hook, CT. Dawn was from Naugatuck, CT, the town where the tournament was held, and also the hometown of us 8 players. We had a blast playing in the tournament, and it was even more rewarding to know where the proceeds were going. There was a 50/50 raffle done and the prize was $500 dollars!- the humble winner choose to give the winnings to the scholarship fund- a deed that many would agree Dawn herself would have done. Overall, we had more fun than we could have ever expected, and will be returning to the tournament and Custom Ink in the future! Custom Ink was not only fast and reliable, but had AMAZING customer service, an easy to navigate website, and most importantly great products!!! Thanks again for everything!!"

Bowling For Adeline T-Shirt Photo

"We wanted to celebrate our Grandmother's life by bowling - her favorite hobby and sport. We are also raising money for N.C. Little Hospice, as they made sure the end of my grandmother's life was the best it could possibly be. She changed our lives, so it was important that these shirts represent how important she was...and they definitely did!"

"On January 21, 2013, my father passed away suddenly from complications from lung cancer. I had planned to run the Rock n Roll New Orleans Half Marathon on February 24, 2013. The race benefits the American Cancer Society and I decided to run In Memory of my Dad. Three of my best childhood friends, who knew my dad well, decided to run the race with me so I had the shirts made up for all of us to wear. It was fantastic! My first half marathon and I had such great support and the whole while running for my dad. "

Team Jan Phelan by pmg0009 - over 1 year ago

Team Jan Phelan T-Shirt Photo

"We ran our first 5k as a family in Vermont last fall in memory of my grandmother, Jan Phelan, to benefit Friends of Norris Cotton Cancer Center where she had been treated. Our team had participation from Ohio, Massachusetts and Vermont, and even a runner who just had hip replacements! Everyone was so excited for team t-shirts that even some of the non-runners in the family ordered them. Custom Ink's customer service was with me almost up to the starting line - some family members decided to run (and order shirts) at the last minute, so they sent 2 follow up shipments to me and they all made it before the race!"

#TEAMWIESE Running for Our Angels by Sheryl Wiese - over 1 year ago

#Teamwiese Running For Our Angels T-Shirt Photo

"The photo was taken after we all completed The Color Vibe 2/16/13 which is a 5k run. The shirts we ordered we made for this run. We ran this in memory of our daughters Mackenzie Ellizabeth Wiese-16 yrs old and Lauren Nicole Wiese-15 yrs old who lost their lives in a tragic car accident 8/17/12. They were on their way to Color Guard and band practice. Mackenzie was driving her car and lost control due to a part of the road that was broke off and overcorrected causing them to hit another vehicle. I have had the most wonderful experience with CustomInk in designing our shirts. They made sure they came out perfectly Especially my daughter Mackenzie's hand on the front which we found when we turned on her phone the day of the accident. Her hand with her writing saying "Everything is going to be okay"!! We ran this run in honor of them!! Running for our Angels!!!"
