"A group of US Marine Corps friends that went to Iraq together in 2004-2005 that is from the Boston area. I wanted to incorporate our usmc/iraq experience. Our group of 9 became like a liytle fraternity that we called ourselves the horsemen, originating with 4 members then expanding to our current 9 members. I definitley wanted to incorporate the tradegy of boston marathon and the date to never forget a well as boston strong on the figures t shirt. I factored in some of us are irish with shamrock, boston redsox type lettering. The word room had the font of Foxwoods Casino, as to where most of us had any poker experiences. I wanted to incorporare the country woth usa flag as well. I will be hosting weekly poker events at my apt. "

"All of our three sons are in the military and each have had several tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. We have pledged, as a family, to have a reunion every year over the July 4th weekend. Sometimes one of the boys cannot be there (in 2012 our oldest son was gone - green shirts). Every year we decide on a different Custom Ink shirt and take a family picture which we then use as our Holiday Card and mail to everyone on our list of almost 200 family and friends. This year my 3 sons and my husband, who served 33 years, will have compiled 100 years of military service.
The photo entered was taken July 4th 2012 in Sisters, OR at a Dude Ranch.
Once we discovered CustomInk, around 7 or 8 years ago, we have never used another company for our shirts. The company is responsive to your needs; the shirts are good quality; but more importantly for us, they come up with something new every year."

"The event we are participating in is a Lackland Air Force Base, TX 24-hour annual run that the Air Force Base is sponsoring in order to show respect and recognize our POWs/MIAs/KIAs . On the back of the T-shirt I ordered, you’ll see pictures of my Son, SPC Dane R. Balcon. He was killed-in-action on 5 September 2007 in Balad, Iraq. My family and I just recognized our fifth year anniversary. Initially, I was planning to participate in this run by myself (front row, far right) on behalf of my Son, and then my colleagues, (ARC-234 Team), at work wanted to support me by running along. "

"This photograph was taken in Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. We were allowed to were section tshirts instead of our regular Army PT shirts. Everyone who saw our shirts asked us where we got the shirts because they loved them so much. Many people ordered extras for family members and friends. CustomInk made it very easy to make our shirts and ship them to Iraq."
