"My father passed away from pancreatic cancer on 8/5/2009, so our extended family decided to walk in the Pancan Detroit walk just a month and a half later. Even though we had a small team and only 1.5 months to raise money, we raised the second highest amount of any team there! "Indianapolis Heart Walk 2009. The shirts received many complements. My team (Team CF) loved them!! We walked this year to raise awareness of the Heart Disease IST. I was diagnosed last year. It's some what uncommon. Especially at my age 19. Many young people do not have heart problems so its nice to raise awareness about it!!
