"A couple friends and I were rock climbing in the Red River Gorge in Kentucky. I was shooting my buddy in the yellow shirt when a few other people just happened to take a break (might have fallen) right in my frame. Made for a really cool picture. P.S. "This is our 3rd year supporting the KY Thorough Breast and the fight against breast cancer. The event we participated in was a dragon boat race on September 8th at A.J. Jolly Park in Campbell County Kentucky. The race consisted of 40 teams of 20 people each. This year, our team, "The Motor Boaters" motorboated to a 4th place finish!! Our team, that appears in the picture, consisted of our Saint Elizabeth Healthcare Edgewood Kentucky Respiratory Care Family. As you can see even our mascot "Andre" LOVES Custom Ink. "The past two years, Team Shirlock has run in the Bourbon Chase; a 200-mile, 2-day running relay through the hills of Kentucky. As we prepare for the 2011 event and another order from CustomInk, we came across the photos from last year's race. On top of the experience of the run, how can you beat spending two solid days with 12 of your sweatiest friends. Team Shirlock is a fundraising unit of the Shirlock Foundation, participating in assorted athletic events to raise money for college-aged leukemia patients. CustomInk has always been extremely helpful to the Shirlock Foundation. They even helped us with the custom artwork for the back of our shirts (and by helped, I mean they took a low-res picture we sent in and did all of the work for us for free -- the quality is incredible).
