"The 5th graders at two schools in Evanston, IL come together for a friendly kickball game to raise money for a classmate who was recently diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma, a cancer of the bone and soft tissue. To date, students have raised over $12,000.00 to help the family with expenses involved in battling the disease. Moving into the summer and on to middle school, the "Kick It" t-shirts will be a visual reminder the students that they made a HUGE difference in someone’s life. "This picture was taken after the DECA fundraiser 2011 kickball tournament on May 20th held at Lake Braddock Secondary School in Virginia. The team won the whole tournament going 6 and 1. The group of students were one out of only two 8th grade teams that entered against many upperclass high school teams. Their final game defeated a group of seniors for the title. I am very proud of their sportsmanship, effort, and desire to win."

"Another area nonprofit recently had a kickball tournament as a fundraiser. One of their reps called us to say that someone was interested in sponsoring a team from Forgotten Angels. We serve people with developmental disabilities. An offer was sent out to staff and residents, and much to our surprise, a team was born! They didn't make it too far in the tournament, but they had a lot of fun and are talking about joining a league (and practicing regularly). "Here is our group photo in front of the Low Water Bridge in Front Royal, Virginia after a grueling 12 mile canoe trip down the Shenandoah River on Saturday, September 4, 2010. The weather was perfect! This was our third year doing this camping and canoe trip and our second year making shirts for it. We like to get together and relax for the last 3-day weekend of the summer. CustomInk is great to work with and sent our shirts in plenty of time for our trip.
