I also raised awareness for Marrow.org where people can register their marrow to help save children and adult's lives through a very simple and pain-free registration process. Lastly we raised money for a vital organization called the Matthew and Andrew Akin Foundation."
"This annual Family Reunion was in Long Beach, CA..This was the first time we took the group photo in our t-shirts. It was near a historical Light house on the shore of downtown Long Beach August 7, 2010. My family loved the t-shirt color and the design, as it accommodated the 4x sizes that we needed and still maintained a sharp look. I really appreciated the personal touch of the care tags that were placed on each t-shirt by your staff, we individually tied them in natural material and presented them to our family members upon checkin to the hotel. I ordered just enough t-shirts and members of the family were asking if they could buy more shirts as gifts for others that did not make it. "Team McBoobies walked in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer on September 12-13 in Long Beach, California. We raised almost $5000.00 and walked 26 miles to help fight and find a cure for Breast Cancer. It was our first time walking and we have decided that we will walk again in the future! EVERYONE LOVED OUR SHIRTS!!! They were a big hit! "I teach an Engineering Design and Development class at the California Academy of Mathematics and Science. This is a senior level class, which is designed to provide a "real life" engineering experience. This class project was to build a set of autonomous robosts which had to collaborate, to perform a task, that no single robot could perform on it's own. This photo was taken at the completion of a successful test. As a reward to the students, I had team shirts made. The order was processed quickly and the shirts really went over well. I intend to order team shirts every year!"
