Team Big Rick by Team Big Rick - 10 months ago

Team Big Rick T-Shirt Photo

"The RACE! The Heroes of Hope Race for Research took place Sunday, November 3, 2013 at Dockweiler State Beach in Los Angeles. We had a spectacular day and our hearts were touched on some many levels... here are just a few. • Speaking to my husband Rick’s spirit in love, tears, and prayer. • Celebrating my husband Rick’s birthday in hopes of helping others! • Meeting our team fund raising goal of $1000.00. • Taking in the beauty of the pacific coast line which was a spectacular back drop and a beautiful walk. • Inspired by the warriors who are currently living and battling brain tumors several warriors participated in the walk, some with canes, some with wheel chairs and some so young our hearts broke. • Praying for the warriors and their families that they beat the tremendous risk of death. • Hearing the stories and honoring the memories of loved ones who are no longer here. • Watching my daughter Gina honor her Dad’s memory as she wrote his name on the Loving memory banner as tears fell from her husband's Ryan's eyes. • A conversation between my son Little Rick and a bike medic when the medic asked which one of the team members was Big Rick. Big Rick 57 was written on the back of our shirts."

"We were at the Los Angeles Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Walk on October 28, 2013 for our son Corin Thunderfist. He was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 2012 and his family gathered to show support and raise money for a cure. His shirt was loved by all who saw it as it was perfect with a big fist on the back to show Corin's bravery with is diagnosis. "

#Faygerson Pub Crawl on Wheels by #Faygerson - 11 months ago

#Faygerson Pub Crawl On Wheels T-Shirt Photo

"As part of our engagement party, we organized a pub crawl on beach cruisers up the Los Angeles coast. The whole California Coast from Redondo Beach to Santa Monica was overcome with 50 blue Faygerson shirts by Custom Ink. Everywhere we went people recognized us, and gave us cheers! The shirts definitely made the party, and even earned us a few free drinks along the way! Working with Custom Ink was a phenomenal experience; each service representative was extremely helpful, and made sure we got exactly what we needed. They even improved up the color and clarity of our design. Not only was the design and purchase experience executed with the upmost professionalism, but the final product was better than I ever would've imagined. I will absolutely order from Custom Ink for my next event, and recommend it to all of my friends! Thanks Custom Ink!!!"

Xanadudes raising money for a good cause, APLA by Kevin - about 1 year ago

Xanadudes Raising Money For A Good Cause, Apla T-Shirt Photo

"This is a group photo taken on the last obstacle of the 5mi 'Concrete Hero' course. The event was held in downtown Los Angeles, it was the second annual obstacle course thrown to raise money for APLA. As a team, we had 2 of the top individual fundraisers and raised the most money per team member than any other, a total of $40,000. There are multiple photos showing how our group had an amazing time cheering on each other, but I wanted to show the overall group. We thank you for providing our shirts as it helped identify and unify our team. The experience with CustomInk couldn't have been better. I had trouble making the purchase online and then found out it went through 2x. I called and was on the line with a rep when someone from CustomInk called to let me know I had put 2 orders through. Great customer service!!"

We loved our "poppin' purple power" t-shirts which were done in honor/memory of the mother/wife of several staff members. She passed away in November of 2012 and was greatly missed at this annual camp. CustomInk has been great to work with the past three years!"

"Our team — with t-shirts drawn and designed by Team Captain Mike (holding banner at right) — was the number one fundraising team for the American Brain Tumor Association's recent Breakthrough for Brain Tumors 5k in Los Angeles! We ran and walked in honor of all our loved ones whose lives have been affected by brain tumors, including Naomi (holding banner at left), who was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2010 at age 27."

We Dance Circles Around Cancer by Dancing Cancer Warriors 2013 - about 1 year ago

We Dance Circles Around Cancer T-Shirt Photo

"This year, our team for the Los Angeles Revlon Run/Walk for Women changed its name to the Dancing Cancer Warriors and participated with the biggest group yet - not only was this the first year with our new team name but also the first year with our new team shirts by CustomInk! Our team was created in honor of our friend and cancer warrior/survivor, Lulu, who has a rare form of cancer she has been fighting for 20 years. She is a dancer, but didn't want her name included in the team name, so we came up with this new name in honor of her... and I knew we had to pose as dancers! Our team not only included Lulu, but two other survivors - 3 cancer survivors total - in addition to kids and adults. I decided to design the shirt directly on the CustomInk site, because I was running out of time to design it on my own (I've used both options in the past with CustomInk). Once I created a draft, our team captain suggested adding a ribbon, which was the finishing touch the design needed - and voila... the beautiful shirts were on their way! We definitely stood out in our bright pink shirts at the run - as we danced circles around cancer - and our second motto became "Real Men Wear Pink" for the male members of our team... and they did - wore the shirts with pride. We also got a number of smiles, recognition after the event with "that was you guys? I saw those!" and one survivor even asked to dance with Lulu in the survivors tent - a favorite part of the day for me!"
