"John Yeates Middle School faculty, staff and students have been actively supporting the March of Dimes and participating in the March for Babies for over twenty years. Every year, we organize a team, raise money and participate in the walk. We were excited to have set a school record this year by raising over $3,200. This picture was taken at the 2014 March for Babies in Suffolk, Virginia. For the last several years, we have been ordering our shirts from Custom Ink. Our custom shirts allow us to stand out from the crowd, and we love the sense of community our matching shirts inspire. We are thrilled with the exceptional service provided by Custom Ink, and we appreciate the personal touch we always receive when ordering. "

"One of our charge nurses grand babies were born at 27weeks and one day on Dec 24, 2013. As a unit we wanted to support her and her family during this difficult time. So we made a team to raise money to fight prematurity. So far we have raised close to $4000. Amazing since we a small labor and delivery unit of only 40 nurses! "

Mighty Mavericks - March for Babies by Mighty Miracle Mavericks - 4 months ago

Mighty Mavericks March For Babies T-Shirt Photo

"This photograph is of our first March for Babies - March of Dimes walk that my family has participated in. My son Maverick was born at 27 weeks, 5 days gestation due to severe preeclampsia. Participating in this event was the perfect opportunity for us to raise money and give back to a community that so greatly needs funding and support. While my son was in the NICU, we kept saying "He may be tiny, but he is mighty!" He is now 21 months and we couldn't be more proud of his progress and strength. There are too many babies born prematurely, so supporting March for Babies will continue to be a part of our lives for a while. These shirts were custom designed by my sister in law and I loved the way custom ink took the image and created a master piece. The raglan gave us a unique look and was so comfortable! Customer service and communication was top notch. I had a terrible experience with another t-shirt company, so I switched to CustomInk and was happy and impressed with the ease of the site and ongoing communication they provided through emails and text messaging. Way to go Custom Ink!"

March for Babies by March for Babies - 4 months ago

March For Babies T-Shirt Photo

"Brent and Teri were excitedly expecting triplets. One day, much too early, Teri went into labor and their triplets were born at 23 weeks, 16 weeks early. Each baby weighed less than 1 lb 5 ozs. Madison weighed only 1 lb 2 ozs. She survived for five days and passed away, due to a massive brain bleed, in her mother's arms. Daniel and Ashlee, the surviving twins, spent 143 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU).in separate hospitals, 100 miles apart. During that time Teri, and Brent split their time between the two hospitals to make sure that one of them was always with one of the babies! Each baby underwent surgery and months on ventilators to help them breathe and allow their lungs to develop. Today both babies are funny, loving and VERY active because of innovations that stemmed from research sponsored by the March of Dimes. In fact, they will be celebrating the 2nd birthday this week. Our team, "Adams-Poconos", walked in the March for Babies to help raise money for this life saving research. Our team's goal was to raise $1430, to remember our 143 days spent in the NICU. Team Adams-Poconos ultimately raised $2250! Our shirts represented that 143 days cannot stop one families love."
