"We decided to escape with some friends to The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island for a long Thanksgiving weekend! The kids can't stop talking about what they experienced. Gingerbread house making, snow-globe making, Santa coming to town with the elves, Thanksgiving dinner with endless pumpkin pie, beach time, amazing breakfast buffets, killer burgers, spa time, Jamaican bands by the pool, shark teeth searching, Christmas tree lighting, s'mores by campfire on the beach, playroom/movie time... "This is my family. In my experience, we are a little closer than your average family...we like to have fun. So every Thanksgiving, after eating we actually go outside and watch the guys in the family play football. We tailgate, cheerlead and even have a little mini band.
