Custom Ink In Kilts! by Jess Johnston - about 1 year ago
"Since we have 9 kids, we wanted them to have a family tradition, and since Johnstons are Scottish, my husband and I created the Johnston Highland Games. Once a year we invite family and friends for a day in the park in PA for a picnic and to participate in traditional Scottish Highland games. (Though, I must admit, our "cabers" are much, much smaller than the ones they use in Scottland.) The first year our family were the only ones in kilts. This year we were excited to see more than half our participants rocking plaids! We've had t-shirts done before, but this year's shirt, done by Custom Ink, are everyone's favorite by far!"

"Our first time wearing the shirts I ordered. We all went to the Cleveland Zoo during my vacation. We went to Waldameer Park in Erie, PA the next day. I was impressed with the professionalism at Custom Ink. They made sure my order was exactly what I wanted before they started. I will definately order from them again."
Tuesdays with Morrie Author Mitch Albom Gets Custom Inked by Mrs. Leigh Ann Chow - about 1 year ago
"I am an 11th grade English teacher at Mechanicsburg Area Sr. High School in Mechanicsburg, PA. We worked with Custom Ink to create two t-shirts that were the culmination of a project in which students designed a t-shirt featuring one of Morrie Schwartz's "Morrieisms" -- short, witty sayings featured in Mitch Albom's best-selling memoir, Tuesdays with Morrie. Each class picks its winner and then all 12 classes' shirts are voted on by the entire junior class. The winning design is made into a t-shirt that students are able to purchase. Proceeds are donated to the ALS Association, the charity that supports research for ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) from which Morrie suffered. This year, we had two top designs that were nearly tied, so we decided to make both. Because Custom Ink was so easy to work with and so affordable, we were able to order to 80 shirts and raise more than $175 to donate to ALS. As if this were not amazing enough, on June 23, Mitch Albom himself visited the Harrisburg area. After his talk, I was able to present him with one of our t-shirts and tell him a little about our project. The photo shows me (wearing the "little bird" design) presenting the "wave" design shirt to Mr. Albom. Custom Ink has been a wonderful partner in this project, even going so far as to make an unsolicited donation to our fundraising to the ASL society. I could not ask for a better experience and we will no doubt use Custom Ink again next year when we hope to make our fundraising efforts an even bigger success!"

Peyton Nation March of Dimes 2013 by Kari - about 1 year ago
"This is the March of Dimes team that came together to support my son, Peyton who was born 11 weeks early and inevitably suffered (and continues to) with many health issues. He is loved by so many people!! The walk was held in Clarion, PA on May 5, 2013. The back of our shirts read: "Precious Extraordinary Youthful Tough Our Miracle NICU Survivor 11 weeks too soon 12.6.11 @ 2lbs 6 oz 195 Days old when he came home" I was so happy with the all assistance I got from Custom Ink. Everybody was so nice and helpful - sure to make my design work. My favorite part though was the fact that I was looked at as a person, just not another order. I was asked about my son and how he was doing and was actually able to have a conversation with everyone. I have already decided I will be using them for our shirts next year, too! "
