Team Addilyn is doing our part by walking in parades & handing out flyers with the above information in hopes to eventually start a petition drive so we can get a bill passed in Maine for all newborns to be screened for genetic disorders which could potentially save precious lives!! "We competed in a 32 team kickball tournament that benefits Girls Hope. So we combined the Girls Hope pink with the Dos Equis "Most Interesting Man in the World" to create "The Most Interesting Team in the World". We went on to win six games and brought home a kickball championship!"
"Sheila Porter, 41, was diagnosed with breast cancer on June 27, 2012. Has under gone mastectomy on July 6th and will be starting chemo on August 9th which will be for the next 14 months.. A benefit was held on August 4th to help with current costs of medical bills and upcoming bills, The benefit was a huge success. This picture was taken early in day as a good hundred more people ordered the same shirt. We plan to order more shirts as everyone loves them and has been asking for one. "Three friends - walking for a cause - raising money for the Avon Breast Cancer foundation. As we trained for the 39 mile walk, we were given a nickname of the 3 Muskateers, and so played with the name to associate it with breasts - hence the 3 Brazeers! The event is made into a fun filled event with many different references to breasts and boobs - to bring attention to the very important and serious cancer Ordering the shirts was EASY - the staff were so helpful and guided me through the process - the shirts arrived in good time for the deadline in July....and we were very pleased with the quality, the color, and fit. We had many wonderful comments along the walk - and took many pictures along the way. Our favorite is in front of the beautiful Museum of Fine Arts in SF. My 23 year old son even wore his pink shirt - proudly supporting me as he walked with us :) "
