"I have been the team captain of a family team for the Tacoma Relay for Life for the past 5 years. The very first year I was captain I had this really great idea for a shirt but none of the local printing shops could make it what I envisioned so I looked on-line and found custom ink. I have used Custom Ink for our team shirt designs ever since. This particular photo was taken at the Tacoma, WA Relay for Life Event in June of 2011 where our family not only celebrated the survivors on our own team but all of the other families battling the demon of cancer. This was one of the last times that my Mom and her 7 siblings were together before my aunt passed away in July. We will continue to fight against cancer in her name and every other person who has lost their battle against cancer. That is the reason why we Relay!"

Cancer Soc. walk in Dell Rapids, SD...July 2011...my sister was diagnosed April 30th and finished 7weeks of radiation & chemo the day before the walk (7/28/11)....we quickly organized a 48+ member team and needed shirts asap since we weren't in time for the ACS shirt order. "Our family participates in the Relay for Life to support the American Cancer Society in Douglas County IL. Like many people our lives have been touched by cancer and we raise funds for research to find a cure! "On June 20th, 2011 Benton Hall Academy held it's first Mini-Relay for life for the American Cancer Society. 100 first grade students participated in 5 rotating stations all dealing with cancer prevention and then walked laps around the school park. "My family did our very first Relay for Life walk on June 10, 2011. In November 2010, my brother was diagnosed with stage 3 Melanoma. "This is a picture of my team for this year's American Cancer Society Relay for Life held in my hometown. Everyone in this picture has been friends for years, and we have participated in the Relay for Life each year for the past 3 years (since Relay first came to Methuen).
