"I volunteered to get a team together to participate in school districts D230 yearly relay for life. My team spent weeks fundraising an planning. We stayed up all night may 10th and walked for the event. We had many people to donate this event to and it was a great turnout! We plan on doing this next year. "Cheer For A Cure is a team of 6 High School Girls at MSD in Parkland, Florida. Marissa Gavin a junior asked the five girls to join the team for Relay for Life. This is for the American Cancer Society. They baked 80 cupcakes and decorated them. Everyone of the cupcakes sold!
Not one of the girls were on the HS cheerleading team because of injustice by the cheer program. 2012-13.
This year with a new program...all the girls made varsity. They are proud and good girls thinking of others.

"We are part of Team LEM. We participate at Relay for Life in Olentangy. We relay for the many people in our lives who have been affected by cancer and we hope one day to just celebrate the cure and all the lives saved.
