Family at P. Taylor Hope Lodge Donation Drive by kbabineaux - about 1 year ago

Family At P. Taylor Hope Lodge Donation Drive T-Shirt Photo

"My cousin Gigi passed away three years ago from cervical cancer. She was 39 years old. My daughter decided to do a donation drive to the Patrick Taylor Hope Lodge, for her National Honor Society service project. Gigi and her parents stayed there free of charge as she went through very painful chemo treatments. It was very good for our entire family...especially Gigi's parents. We decided to make it an annual event. This year was the third year and I thought we should get t-shirts so that everyone one notice our group as we visited the French Quarter in New Orleans and hopefully ask questions about them. Hopefully more people can learn about this great place. Drew Brees knows about it. He donated a million dollars to renovate the lobby and rooms. It is fabulous. I started out by finding the website to customink online. Shea got me started, Erickka helped me to tweak things and Matt completed my order the next day. They were wonderful...and excited about what our group was doing. The shirts were in my hand 5 days after the order......and 6 days earlier than the promised date...I might add. The donation drive was a huge success and we ended our day with an outing to the Olive Garden, which was Gigi's favorite place to eat. Thanks Customink for making us one sharp looking group.:):)"

Fear the Claw by University of Northern Colorado Mortar Board - about 1 year ago

Fear The Claw T-Shirt Photo

" As a national senior honor society, the Gold Key Chapter of Mortar Board at the University of Northern Colorado is committed to scholarship, leadership, and service. This photo was taken in October at our yearly service project at the Garden of the Gods State Park near Colorado Springs, Colorado. We meet with other chapters to work in the park maintaining the trails, building fences, and hauling soil to areas of erosion for restoration. In this photo, we have worked hard all day but we still have the energy to raise our bear claws and show our school pride. This is just one of our many service projects in our state, our community, and on our campus. Go Mortar Board!"

Students Restore the Jersey Shore by KbellArt - over 1 year ago

Students Restore The Jersey Shore T-Shirt Photo

"We ordered awesome long sleeve t-shirts to promote our Senior Service Project at Randolph High School. Students wore the shirts while painting a two sided barricade in Belmar, NJ. We painted memories from our childhood to help create a beautiful mural, inspiring reconstruction and hope for the summer season. After Hurricane Sandy devastated so many homes, our painting was a great way to show neighbors that beauty and art can be found all over. Our story is featured on our district website and we hope to complete another service project in the spring months down the shore. "

"Gertie's Guardians is a long-time Bible Study group that volunteered to help pack meals for Feed My Starving Children on St. Patrick's Day. Overall, 106,000 meals were packed by volunteers during the day-long event in Phoenix. The dehydrated meals are distributed through NGOs and faith communities around the world. Gertie is a toy goat we received one year from World Vision for buying goats to be provided to families overseas. Child's Heart Ministry sponsored the T-shirts for Gertie's Guardians. It was an absolute joy working with CustomInk and we look forward to our next purchase opportunity."

Inner-City Philadelphia Servants by Elizabeth - about 3 years ago

Inner City Philadelphia Servants T-Shirt Photo

"CustomInk was great for getting our t-shirts done! Our school sends out students all over the world to do service projects, and my group went to inner-city Philadelphia, Kensington to be specific. We worked with Cornerstone Community Church and reached out to people in need. We took one night off to see a 76ers game, and went to a restaurant to eat dinner before the game, and we all wore our amazing CustomInk shirts. Thanks, CustomInk, for making this a trip to remember!!! =)"
