"The Academies at Anacostia Senior High School is proud of its FIRST Robotics Team 2963, The AnaDroids! Based out of Washington, DC our team's mission is to inspire and recognize science and technology for students who would not have otherwise had the exposure. This year, our robot competed in the Washington, DC Regional competition and placed 21st out of 58 other robots, coming from 14 states, Brazil and Israel! "The KRCS Tigerbytes is a robotics team from King's Ridge Christian school in Alpharetta GA. They have worked hard for several months, designing and building a robot as part of the FIRST Tech Challenge. January 12, they competed for the first time in Alpharetta against 12 other teams. After a tough competitive game, they brought home a first place trophy for the robotics competition, and a trophy for best robot design!!! Originally we had ordered t-shirts from another company, but they had trouble with our complex design.
