"The Relay for Life Bastrop/Smithville event theme was Teaming up for a Cure. Our team wanted to focus on football, hence the jerseys. The event was held at Erhard Football Field in Bastrop, Texas. Relay for Life is an event supporting American Cancer Society. The event has raised over $163,420 and our awesome team that you see in the picture has raised over $16,000. Woohoo!!!!! Nine out of 20 were available for this picture. Several of the team members out walking the track, working silent auction tables etc. Our experience with Customink was fantastic. I received help with the logo that I provided and we added an additional logo. The staff was fantastic and helped me work through several changes...see all the women in the picture? "Our "Texas Cousins" have gotten together several times to celebrate our San Antonio roots. In April, we met in Port Aransas, TX so the t-shirt design included a pair of flip flops placed on the Gulf side of the state outline. I have designed shirts with CustomInk many times, and each experience has been great. "This photograph was taken during the Kiker Elementary Earth Day Clean Up Event held on April 27, 2013 in Austin, Texas. Over 35 volunteers and a local landscaping crew helped transform what we refer to as the "Kindergarten mud pit" into a beautiful garden with tree benches. In addition, volunteers mulched trees, picked up trash and mulched and weeded existing gardens. Our committee created a logo and had CustomInk make our shirts. "Our team climbed 660 steps/30 flights of stairs steps on behalf of the American Lung Association's Fight for Air Climb in Austin, Texas. Our team climbed in honor of my sister who I nicknamed, "Pee-Wee" when she was a little girl. My sister is currently recovering from her 2nd double lung transplant. Our team received the award for most donations received. $4.2K. This money will aide in the in the continued research and awareness for pulmonary disorders and the right to breathe clean air. "We went to the Kidney Walk in Dallas, Texas this year to celebrate my son (the boy in black shorts) getting my kidney 3 years ago!!!! We usually do the Fort Worth, Tx walk (It's earlier in the year & colder so we bought matching sweatshirts- which were awesome as well)!!! The event was for Killeen, Texas 2nd Annual Walk to End Lupus Now held by Lupus Foundation of America North Texas Chapter and the Killeen Area Lupus Group for which I am a volunteer. The walk was this past Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 10 am. I had an amazing experience with CustomInk, whether I was using just the website, calling customer service or corresponding by email.
