"Our son, Will (2nd from right), was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 6. He has been successfully living with Type 1 diabetes for 3 1/2 years thanks to funding provided by Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) to help find new treatments and technology. Will's Walking Warriors is our family team for the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes. This photo was taken of our team at the walk in Columbia, SC on Sunday, Nov 4, 2012. "This photo shows the support and love of our friends and family for our son Hudson. He was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes at age 2 last year. The walk takes place in October and team members walk and raise funds for research to find a cure, so that those with Type 1 (depend on insulin for survival) diabetes can one day live without the disease."

"This is our JDRF walk team. Our 10 year was diagnosed with T1 Diabetes almost 3 years ago, and this is our way of working towards a cure. "On September 16, 2012, Tyler's Troops participated in the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes. Tyler was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes one year ago, when he was just two years old. This year we participated in the walk in Lakeside-Marblehead Ohio. We raised over $4000 to help find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes. I ordered our shirts from CustomInk and were thrilled with the experience. The live chat feature was wonderful, I used it multiple times, and each person was extremely helpful. It was easy to design the shirts online, all my questions were answered quickly and the communication about the status of my order was excellent. "Every year we "Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes" and this year was no difference. The cutie in the center is TJT or Jackson who has Type1 Diabetes and is the reason we Step Out! This year was our largest team and we couldn't have been happier to have everyone with us! Jackson is with his two best friends dancing to Gangnam Style after we walked. Not that it is a race but they were first to finish the 5k! This was taking in the Baltimore Inner Harbor on October 6th! Thank you CustomInk for making our team look great once again!"

"Emma was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes less that a year ago. When she invited a few friends and family to join her in the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes on October 14, her High School soccer team heard about it and decided to surprise her and show up to support her on the day of the walk. This is most of the team and coach on the day of the walk. Emmer's Team raised almost $1100 for research to prevent and cure Type 1 diabetes."

"My daughter Caroline was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes last December. This was our first walk for the JDRF on October 6, 2012. Had a great time at the walk and for a good cause. "At 2.5 years old, my daughter, Jessica was diagnosed with type I diabetes. She currently wears an insulin pump and deals with needles, glucose checks, and monitoring carbohydrates on a daily basis. Through it all, at age 9, Jessica is the happiest, joyful child to be around. Her sparkling green eyes and cheerful personality would never let anyone know that she puts up with an illness that no child should ever have to. As team Jessica's Journey, we walk every year to support Walking for a Cure. It's my hope every day that Jessica will one day experience life without the restrictions of diabetes - just one day where she doesn't have to check her sugar, count a carbohydrate, or inject insulin... This is my first time ordering our team shirts from Custom Ink and they were beyond wonderful! Because we recently moved and I started a new job AND went back to school at night, I unexpectedly put off ordering our tshirts in a timely fashion. Custom Ink accepted our order and had the tshirts at my front door in less than 48 hours! They are perfect and everyone loved them! We plan on ordering shirts from them every year!"
