Lambda Chi Alpha - Alpha Chi Zeta Watermelon Bash 2012 by lcaaxwb12 - over 1 year ago

Lambda Chi Alpha Alpha Chi Zeta Watermelon Bash 2012 T-Shirt Photo

"This is our Lambda Chi Alpha chapter at the University of Richmond, VA for our national philanthropy event, Watermelon Bash in October of this year. The event consisted of 13 teams participating in watermelon relay, seed spitting competition, watermelon throw, watermelon decorating, and watermelon bashing. All watermelons were donated to our chapter since they are going out of season. We raised over $500 and many non-perishable goods that all went to Central Virginia's FeedMore organization. We have always used CustomInk when making shirts for our chapter, and we look forward to making more with your company. You always produce the best type of shirt and give the best customer service. Thank you for making it a great event!"

We conquered the mud by Mighty Warriors - almost 2 years ago

We Conquered The Mud T-Shirt Photo

"This photo was taken after we rinsed off the mud and dirt from our Warrior Dash in Charles City, VA in September 2012. We are a group of friends that came together through work and school and were just looking for a fun challenge - 3.56 miles, a lot of mud, and 10+ obstacles seemed like the right size obstacle for us. Of course, we determined that we needed shirts for the event and feel very fortunate that we stumbled upon CustomInk. The website and customer service were exceptional and our shirts came out better than expected (and we had high expectations)! The experience was so outstanding that I wish we had another excuse to make another t-shirt today. Check out our picture where we're pointing out the back of our awesome shirts!"

Sweet Youth Group Tumblers! T-Shirt Photo

"This is a picture of the youth group's board from Temple Rodef Shalom in Falls Church displaying our new tumblers! We decided this year to reward our members with free tumblers as a perk for joining and attending youth group events. This picture is from one of our weekly board meetings (the board consists of 16 high school students who have various responsibilities to make the youth group successful). We are looking forward to distributing the cups soon to the participants in our youth group in the coming weeks!"

Gettin' Dirty 2012 by Jill Yates - almost 2 years ago

Gettin' Dirty 2012 T-Shirt Photo

"Some of us girls decided to do the Henricus Dauber Dash on June 23rd, 2012 located at Henricus Park in Chester, VA. This was a charity run with obstacles like mud pits and barrels of hay. We, as women, bonded together to do this run in honor of an awesome lady in our lives that had been recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Since she had started her chemo prior to the race, she could not do the run but came to support all of us. The shirts were made to commemorate the race ('Gettin' Dirty 2012' is displayed on the front) and support our girlfriend with some girl power ('Fight Like a Girl' is displayed on the back). The girls and I could not have been happier with the results. You guys did an absolutely fantastic job. We were so proud to wear them. The shirts even won best costume at the race which was rewarded with a nice mug. Thank you so much for all the help in designing this shirt and making us excited to wear them."

Team Pay It Forward-Remembering Brandy Miller by Team Pay It Forward - almost 2 years ago

Team Pay It Forward Remembering Brandy Miller T-Shirt Photo

"Here we are at the Out of the Darkness Walk for Suicide Prevention in Virginia Beach honoring Brandy: a great friend, mother, wife, and colleague. Brandy loved pink and Sunshine (the chubby dog up front) so we included those on our shirts, as well as the message Brandy left for us all, encouraging us all to "pay it forward" and treat everyone with kindness. It was a beautiful day, and CustomInk donated to our team, as well as got us our shirts 5 days earlier than promised so we had time to wrap them in pink ribbons, just like Brandy would have done."

Krausse Cup 21012 by Krausse Cup 21012 - almost 2 years ago

Krausse Cup 21012 T-Shirt Photo

" The photograph was taken on July 1, 2012 at the Krausse Cottage at Bowlers Wharf VA on the Rappahannock River. The event was a family reunion of Chris & Spott (deceased) Krausse's 4 grown children and their families. In total there were 24 people present for the photo, with ages that span 4 generations (4-89). Missing were 4 that were present on June 30 but were unable to attend the Sunday & Monday event. Family members traveled from close by: Richmond, Chesterfield, & Hampton VA and far away: Huntsville AL, Port Orange FL, and Long Beach CA. We are a sports oriented family that enjoys games. To create some hype and build up, I came up with the Krausse Cup theme where family units would compete in Mind & Body games. Top games were Gobblet and Corn Hole/Washer Toss. Along with this was color T Shirts by family unit. Each family came up with at name for their family unit. Team Names were: Team Grandstand Team Lightening Team SkiBob (missing in photo) Rivah Rats The Alabama Slammers As they say "A Good Time Was Had By All" I planned to order T Shirts for this event. I had done so previously from a another company for a smaller family function, but ordered the same shirt for all. Custom Ink was a top line selection on the web. After a quick review of its layout and shirt options capability, I decided to learn the particulars and create an order. I was very impressed with the various aspects of Custom Ink, from the web application to the customer service and personal interaction. The main selling point was the fact that we could have the same front design, team name on the back of the shirt, and change the color of the shirt. I received a tip on a call that the ink color was an important factor to help manage cost. I created a matrix for Team Name & Font Style, Shirt Color and Ink Color. This was converted to an accurate and timely order delivery. I will come back again, when there is a need for shirts etc. There was an added intangible that came with the team shirts. The grandchildren were psyched about the whole tournament format. The older ones (my sons) began smack talking before hand via email strings. There was an added camaraderie through spirited but friendly competition among families. Thanks for helping make this happen."
