"My family recently participated in the Walk to End Alzheimers at Delaware Park in Buffalo, New York. It is our first year able to walk as an official team, so I designed Papa's Peeps T-shirts for our team. Everyone at the walk loved them! They thought they were so creative and it really gave us a sense of being an actual team at the walk. CustomInk was great! "Cameron's Crusaders walked in the Terre Haute, IN Walk Now for Autism Speaks on Sept. 19, 2012. This was our first walk since our son was diagnosed with autism. We appreciate everyone that came out to support us and the others affected by autism.
As a team we were able to raise over $1,000 for autism research, which is one of the most prevalent but least funded childhood disorders.
Our shirts were a huge hit!! Tons of people at the walk complemented our shirts and the local news clip that aired for the walk included us with our awesome shirts, too! "This photograph was taken at the MS Walk in Peoria, IL on September 9, 2012. We have been walking in this fundraiser for 5 years. We walk in honor of my dad that has passed away from MS, my cousin Matt and my friend Katie who are battling MS. This was the first time we purchased shirts from CustomInk and it was a GREAT experience. The shirts were easy to order and arrived on my doorstep 1 week earlier that expected. Most of all I was impressed with the personalization of the ordering process. "My nephew Tyler has Apraxia which is a speech disorder. He is currently 6 years old and up until last year couldn't speak other than making noises. Apraxia is a condition where the muscles that you use to form words are not developed properly. Now he is a 6 year old who can speak, talk in sentences and is currently in 1st grade. Its through an AMAZING organization (Childhood Apraxia Speech Association) like this one that he was able to get the necessary therapies to develop coherent speaking abilities. To date, the local chapter has raised over $100,000!

"Each year Winthrop's royalty chooses a charity/cause for which to raise awareness and generate donations. This year we chose the National Eating Disorders Association, and took part in their first annual walk at the Mall of America on September 9, 2012.
