"A group of us ran the 2012 More Magazine Women's Half Marathon in Central Park on 4/15/2012, an all-women's race that for some of us, it was the first time running a half marathon. We wanted a shirt for our group that would help us feel like we were all connected to each other, even as we might run separately during the race. "This is a photograph of the participants of Crave the Shave. The event was held in the month of November 2008 in Sussex, NB Canada. 65 ladies pledged $20 to refrain from shaving their leg hairs in an effort to raise awareness and monies for MS research. The event was 30 days long and brought on some interesting conversations. The event raised over $400 for MS research. Customink.com was great to work with.
