"Our shirts were created for an event called A Rush for the Brush 5k. Our race was a fundraiser for an organization called NCMOM. This foundation travels all over the state of North Carolina to provide dental care for people who cannot afford it. We are a pre-dental club at Appalachian State University and often attend these clinics and see the need in our state. This race was our moment to raise money and awareness for the importance of accessibility and quality dental care. The backs of our t-shirts ended up being completely wrong, but the runners and most of the sponsors made the best of it and still loved the "Must Do It" slogan to remind people to take care of their teeth, and in this case...also keep running.
