"This is a group of wounded combat veterans from the Wounded Warrior Barracks East Camp LeJeune, NC enjoying a day of pier fishing on the Atlantic Ocean. The event was held on May 6, 2009 on the Seaview Pier in North Topsail Beach, NC. It was held to honor these young men for their service and sacrifice to our Country. This was made possible by a volunteer group of local fisherman that wanted to show their support for some true American Heroes. The t-shirts were made possible by a donation from a local merchant and the folks at CustomInk. The support, help and shirts from CustomInk was immeasurable towards our objective." - http://www.militaryappreciationday.org - Warriors (May 06, 2009)

Honoring OUR Wounded Warriors in such a way is truly Fantastic! Though I don't live in the area I will support this event next year, now that I have learned about it. From an American that cares, a heartfelt thank you to our Wounded Warriors, the organizers and other volunteers of the annual event, local merchants that supported it, and CustomInk. WIthout all of you, this would not be possible each year.

This is so unbelievably fantastic that whom ever did this for these American Heroes should definitely win. I don't know how I can help out but I would definitely like to try. My heart is heavy with the knowledge that these men could have been killed and their comrades as still fighting to protect American ideals.
