The Rolling JEMstones are back for our 6th year riding in Cycle for Survival, a spin bike relay race that supports funding for clinical trial research and new treatment options for patients battling rare cancers at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Ceter.

ycle for Surival began in one gym, with a few hundred people, fueled by the fire within Jennifer Goodman Linn, a patient at MSKCC who was battling a rare sarcoma. Jen's desire to raise critical funding and awareness for those battling rare cancers started a movement! Cycle for Survival events now take place in 20 different cities across the United States and has raised over $81million, 100% of which has gone where it is so desperately needed, directly to patients who are in a battle for their life. Over 50% of people diagnosed with cancer are fighting a "rare" cancer. This includes all pediatric cancers, brain, pancreatic, ovarian, thyroid cancer, leukemia, and lymphoma.

Last year, Cycle for Survival challenged each team to come up with a battle cry, a motto that described our vision, our fight, our hope. We knew immediately that our battle cry would be Love Wins. For anyone who has battled cancer or who knows and loves someone battling you know that the best medicine is love. Love Wins. Every day, in every seemingly hopeless situation, love wins.
