Jaye Rock Athletics Scholarship Fund

Jaye Crockett was born in Watertown New York and raised in Clovis New Mexico. As a standout basketball player at Clovis High School, Jaye earned a scholarship to play at Texas Tech University. At Texas Tech, Jaye had to endure four coaches in four years. Despite the coaching changes, Jaye displayed commitment, loyalty and discipline for Texas Tech and his education. He finished his career at Texas Tech as the fifth player in school history to record 1,000 points, 600 rebounds, 100 assists and 100 steals in a season. Jaye also graduated from Texas Tech in August 2013 and is currently working on a Master degree in Sports Management. Jaye has always had a desire to help others. His experience at Texas Tech inspired him to help boys and girls in his hometown of Clovis and Lubbock. Along with is father; Jaye started Jaye Rock Athletics, a basketball-oriented program that creates a personalized environment for youth to pursue their basketball and life goals. Jaye Rock Athletics provides mentoring and back-to-school scholarships along with basketball training, camps and club teams. It is Jaye Rock Athletics goal to not only help youth be better basketball players but productive citizens
