Over 5 million children have been impacted by a parent’s cancer nationwide. While every child experiences this journey uniquely, there are common effects including isolation, loss of interest in academics and activities, and assuming adult-like responsibilities. ‍

Kesem is the only national organization dedicated to this unique population. We support children through and beyond their parent’s cancer with innovative, fun-filled programs that foster a lasting community. Our college student leaders recruit and train volunteers, find families in need, and raise funds for their chapter programs.

In the summer of 2019, over 10,200 children attended FREE summer camps during 120+ weekly sessions of Camp Kesem across the country.
