About this campaign

For 15 years, the Runner's Edge Main Street Mile has wound through the streets of Farmingdale on Labor Day weekend to benefit Pat LaFontaine's Companions in Courage Foundation (CiC16.org). For year #16 (great number!) we are asking you to run a virtual 1-mile race between June-16 and July 16 (catch a theme here?)

All proceeds benefit local children's hospitals. Restrictions caused by the COVID pandemic mean that many pediatric patients cannot even be visited by their parents and siblings. We are providing Google Chromebooks and Slates to area hospitals to help patients stay connected to the outside world. Even if you don't run, please consider making a modest donation to ensure that no child in the fight for life or health goes through it alone. Thank you!
