Families For HoPE, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2006 by a group of moms who were walking the journey of having a child diagnosed with Holoprosencephaly.

We continue to:

Advocate-Our parents and caregivers advocate for their child every day when working with their doctors, teachers, siblings, or other persons.

Support-Families For HoPE was created to help support our families through providing information on the diagnosis of Holoprosencephaly (HPE) and to point them in the direction of those in the research community that could offer guidance.

Educate-Our continuing journey which began 17 years ago not only seeks to educate and equip our families to communicate with their medical providers, but to also to educate those same providers in how to communicate with our families.

Empower-Families For HoPE’s vital peer community is made stronger and more confident together so our families speak up for their child and educate those around them.

Hope-Our families show the world there is truly HoPE in holoprosencephaly through the lived-experiences of those touched by HPE. . .

Love-At the end of the day, love is what matters most to us. We love our kids, our families and friends. To quote John Lennon and Paul McCartney, “All You Need Is Love”.
