About this campaign
Money raised helps to fund cancer research and patient supportive services at Dartmouth's Norris Cotton Cancer Center, one of only 49 comprehensive cancer centers designated by the National Cancer Institute. Supporting The Prouty means supporting researchers and clinicians who are working on innovative ways to prevent, diagnose, treat and hopefully, one day, cure cancer. You’re also supporting important patient supportive services that would otherwise not be funded such as support groups, massage, writing and arts therapy programs.
Team Hope is a team of (DCC) nurses, radiation therapists, healthcare providers, cancer survivors, friends and family members who want to engage in VERY friendly, competitive FUNdraising for Prouty.
The 2023 Prouty event expanded to include a St. Johnsbury Community walk for one of the satellite cancer center locations. Our members will be biking, hiking, rowing, etc for the Main Prouty Event and/or participating in the St. Johnsbury community walk.
