It's time to pick up your official 2026 NDGS Public Fossil Dig shirt! The holiday-sweater inspired print (designed by paleontologist Alex!) is a perfect way to commemorate this year's dig and maybe get your holiday shopping done early (hint, hint)!

For 2026, we have a generous donor who is willing to MATCH up to $500 in donations during this campaign. How does that work? When you go to check out, there will be an option to "Add a Donation" to your order. If we reach our match goal, everyone who donates $10 or more (over the shirt costs) will receive an exclusive 2026 Public Fossil Dig gift!

Since 1983, the The North Dakota Geological Survey Paleontology Program (NDGS Paleontology) has promoted public understanding of the importance of North Dakota’s fossil resources through educational and outreach activities including the public fossil dig program, fossil exhibits, tours, and presentations. Friends of NDGS Paleo, a 501(c)(3) organization, was established in 2020 to support NDGS Paleontology, the Public Fossil Dig Program, field and lab work, and fossil exhibits in North Dakota.
