Sam was bold, driven, and a critical thinker with unmatched confidence and an unparalleled work ethic. He had a contagious sense of humor, a rare ability to bring energy into any room, and a true knack for showing up in the big moments. Running in his honor is our way of carrying forward the strength, purpose, and commitment he lived every day. Through the Sam Yates Community Foundation, his legacy continues to make a lasting impact. Every team T-shirt sold helps raise funds to deploy public-access AEDs throughout the Vashon community, provide life-saving cardiac youth screenings, and offer CPR and AED training to community members. With every step, every shirt, and every person who joins us, we honor Sam by helping build a safer, stronger, and more prepared community.
