5th Annual Memorial Walk for Ana

In January 2015, Ana was diagnosed with intimal cardiac sarcoma, an extremely rare cancer of the heart. Over the course of six years, Ana fought this disease. She went through multiple rounds of chemotherapy, radiation therapy, immunotherapy and two open-heart surgeries. Throughout this time, she never lost hope in finding a cure. She showed courage in the face of disappointment time and again. She also had hope that others going through trials of their own, would see her fight and, in turn, encourage them to fight, too. She never stopped trusting that God would heal her in His time, in this life or the next. On March 9, 2021, He healed her by calling her home to eternal rest in Him. While we miss her terribly, we know that she is whole again in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
