Legion of Queer Activists: Solidarity in the Face of Political Hate
Some right wing “media” has been having a field day with twisting and throwing mud on the names and careers of a number of fantastic, smart, kind, and hard-working folks who have spent time in the US Government building services for the people (US Digital Service, now disbanded by DOGE).
They’ve been picking on queers and allies.
One reporter decided to call us the “Legion of Queer Activists”. Which isn’t a thing, except … hey … it sounds pretty good. Maybe we should make it a thing?
So we made it a thing. We’ve gone ahead and created the Legion of Queer Activists. We’d love for you to purchase a pair of socks, a hoodie, a t-shirt - or just donate - for a good cause.
All proceeds are going to support the Sylvia Rivera Law Project and Lambda Legal, both American non-profits that focus on bringing social, health, and legal services for our queer, trans, and intersex communities.
Because when they go low, we get flashy, go More Gay, spread More Love, and make some money to support our communities.
