Colorado World Refugee Day 2019
Every year on World Refugee Day communities around the world, including here in Colorado, pause to honor the spirit and courage of millions of refugees worldwide. This year we will gather at the State Capitol on June 20 to celebrate the contributions refugees make to our state and the communities who work to welcome them.
World Refugee Day 2019 is hosted by International Rescue Committee, Lutheran Family Services Rocky Mountains: Refugee and Asylee Programs and ECDC's African Community Center. All funds raised will go to support World Refugee Colorado 2018 events and subsequent events--including honorariums for speakers and performers.
The International Rescue Committee in Denver will serve as the fiscal sponsor for all funds raised.
