A New Bridge: A New Era

About this campaign

To celebrate the completion of the new Mosquito Bridge and mark a new era for our community, the proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly to support Mosquito firefighters.

During the June 2026 Board meeting, an MFPD Director referenced district policy on donations and gifts to firefighters in relation to this campaign. That statement underscores why our firefighters benefit from having their own firefighters’ association—one that supports morale, strengthens internal ties, and ultimately enhances both their experience and our community’s safety.

This fundraiser does not conflict with district policy. The firefighters will determine their own priority needs, and we will share with the community both the total amount raised and how those funds are being used to support the crew.
