About: AbeyoMarqz (AM) is a women’s "ready-to-wear" clothing brand aimed at providing the growing young professional and fashionable expressive women with a flair for unique high fashion designer looks at affordable prices. AbeyoMarqz (AM) brings together the eccentric, eclectic, sexy yet classy, and playful yet Fierce woman by presence and style. And that is exactly what founder Candice Williams will be doing, branding a new fierce campaign in fashion to “Kick Cancer in The Butt”.



My Story ( Candice Williams-Designer): My close friend and fellow aspiring designer, Ashia “Juli” DelaRosa, passed away from stage 4 cancer 14 May 2013. I met him while living and working overseas and we shared the same passions for fashion. He dreamed of appearing on Project Runway to the core and of becoming a fashion designer.

Unexpectedly my dear friend Juli passed from stage 4 cancer. This news hurt so bad.It’s just really hard to express exactly how I felt hearing this news. It’s still hard for me to even think about it. For a while I just couldn’t think straight, tried to figure out if I noticed the signs or if maybe I should have stayed overseas to be with him a little longer, I just had so many questions, how, when, why could this be that we loose such good people to such a disease. I vowed that I would do my best to honor him in the best way I know how, though our shared language. I want to do a fashion collection dedicated to him. And with your help now I am on my way.

Goals: My goals are to raise the money to launch a full collection dedicated to him and to also "KIck Cancer in the Butt" for good.This limited edition T-shirt will help to further spread the message that instead of fighting each other, let’s all fight cancer and whoop it’s butt! Also it will to help fund this monumental ode to honor those we have lost and those that have survived this battle. My plans are to launch a new collection in his honor and to help further fundraising by proceeds from a special collection to be named in my friends honor. I hope that others who have lost family members and loved ones to cancer, can also be motivated to support this cause.
