About this campaign

Kali designed & created by Paula Cunha

Help Abhaya run sustainably throughout the dark months of winter. The winter months and New Year time of January have historically been the strongest for Abhaya and yoga studios in general. Our sense is that this year will be different. While we may not carry the full burden of two physical locations, we still maintain some of the responsibilities that were tied to those locations as well as sustaining our staff and management. This beautiful t-shirt, created by our very own talented artist and yoga teacher Paula Cunha, is an expression of the Devi, Kali. Kali looks ferocious but she is actually unconditionally loving. She may enter into our lives like a fire, but her loving power can be like no other, fully embracing, fully enveloping all the parts of ourselves. She is the power of redemptive love and sometimes is equated with fierce Grace. While sometimes, fierce grace can rip into our lives, surprise us, and catch us off guard, it can also be deeply and compassionately loving, pushing us toward greater awakening and ridding us of the ties that bind us and blind us. Kali is pure, unconditional Love and she is now here to remind us all of what is true and what remains when the untruth falls away.

Invoke Kali this holiday season and bring this powerful symbol of Love into your life and offer it to the ones you love… (or even the ones you don’t love!)

A wonderful way to support a beautiful community. So thankful that, in this difficult year, they have continued to unite us with the gift of their guidance and their wisdom.
