About this campaign

Get a Gildan Ultra-Cotton cardinal OR grey colored shirt inscribed with DISABILITEA, a teacup, and AccessibiliTEA to benefit sick or injured children at Children's of Alabama. Children's is Alabama's leading provider in specialized pediatric care, and Alabama's only freestanding, not-for-profit, pediatric hospital ranked among the best children's hospitals in America.

Hi, my name is Derek Schmitz and I am a 15 year old, disabled disability advocate based in Alabama, who happens to go to Children's. I had this idea for this type of T-Shirt a while back because I wanted to make disabilities and accessibility trendy, hence the reference to "spilling tea", a pop culture, currently trendy reference. I decided I wanted it to be a fundraiser give back to the place that helps me so much, Children's of Alabama. Please consider buying one to help them make more groundbreaking discoveries and help other patients, like me. Thank you!
