WARNING VERY GRAPHIC PHOTOS Update:
Amari has been since been released from OVRS and is recovering in a loving foster home. Her foster mom is the very special Vet Tech that was caring for her while she was admitted at OVRS. Amari has healed amazingly but has had a few setbacks with her wounds opening back up. This poor girl has already had multiple surgeries, yet wags her tail and loves to be loved on.
Amari is such a beautiful lil girl!! She didnt deserve what happened to her, no animal does! Please help up continue to fight for her and give her all the medical she needs. By purchasing any one of the Amari Apparel, you will not only help ARAR continue to provide her medical, but you will show everyone you are willing to stand up and FIGHT FOR ANIMAL RIGHTS!!

Amari, a 5 month old pitbull mix was found on the side of the road by Good Samaritans Saturday, August 12, 2017. She was stumbling out of a wooded area onto a busy road. She was taken to an emergency hospital where it was found she had several large open wounds that had quickly become severely infected.
ARAR got involved and transported her to OVRS for the best care possible. We believe these wounds to be the result of dog fights. The wounds are large, infected and expose bone. Despite the pain Amari is in, she still shows signs of affection- even wagging her tail!
We expect Amari will spend weeks in the hospital under critical care while her wounds are treated. She will then require multiple follow up appointments surgeries to close these wounds. If you are able to purchase a shirt or hoodie, it would greatly help us to continue her care. She is just a young puppy that has had a horrible start in life and we want to show her she does deserve love and a chance at a happy life!!
Her current medical bill estimate is $ 18,000

I find it disgraceful this dog was torchured and want to show my support to make sure the perpetrator gets what they deserve.
This story broke my heart and tears started rolling down my face as I viewed the horrific photos as to what Amari has been through. God bless all of those who has helped in her recovery. Please keep us updated.
