Alexandra Chavez - IPF Junior Equipped Worlds

Hi everyone!

My name is Alexandra Chavez and I have been competitively participating in powerlifting for the last five years of my life. In my years of competing, I have won several national championship titles and have competed on a USA World's Team as well.

Last year, I was offered the opportunity to lift as a student-athlete on scholarship at Midland University in Fremont, Nebraska. I quickly jumped at the opportunity and have just completed my first year of college.

During my season at Midland, I was fortunate enough to compete at the 2019 USA Powerlifting Open National Meet in Lombard, Illinois this past May. At this meet, I was blessed to bring home another National Championship title in the 72kg Teen 3 class.

Because of my performance, I was offered a spot to compete on Team USA at the 2019 International Powerlifting Federation Junior Equipped Worlds Competition this August. I will be the representative for the Junior 72kg class.

Unfortunately, USA Powerlifting cannot financially support their athletes to attend these international competitions. The expenses for this meet will come directly from my own pocket. As you can imagine, these trips are quite costly. I will appreciate all the help I can get.

My price breakdown is as follows:
Team Fee: $375
Flight: $600
Hotel: $550
Travel to and from airport: $35

I am asking for your help as I take the international stage once again and represent Team USA, Texas, and Midland University at the International Powerlifting Federation Junior Equipped World Meet this August in Canada.
