About this campaign
Amazing Grace Equine Sanctuary is dedicated to saving the lives of unwanted, abused, or neglected horses. We intend to raise funds for the sanctuary by designing and selling t-shirts. The funds will be donated and used for veterinary care, nutritional supplements, food, and shelter for the horses.
According to the Humane Society of the United States, over 100,000 horses are sent across our borders to Canada and Mexico for slaughter each year. Out of these horses 92.3% of them are in good condition including ex-racehorses, yearlings, and even pregnant mares. Amazing Grace Equine Sanctuary is dedicated to caring for unwanted and neglected horses. With the average cost to care for a single horse per year at approximately $4000, funding is a limiting factor to their development. This fundraiser will not only provide funds for the Sanctuary, but also increase awareness for the continuing needs of neglected horses.
