About this campaign

May is anencephaly awareness month, and Anencephaly.info care package team thought it be best time to raise funds to help support our mission. We currently create personalized care packages that are given to moms that join the Anencephaly.info facebook group while they are still carrying their baby.

All the moms supporting the care package team have walked though their own journey where their baby was diagnosed with anencephaly. Anencephaly is a serious neural tube defect where the baby's skull bone does not develop leaving the brain ( if any) exposed to amniotic fluid. It is a lethal condition and most babies die with in the first day of life if they are born alive.

I met a sweet young lady who i wont forget- she is a former employee of mine who lost her daughter to Anen. I pray one day parents don’t have to feel the heartbreak of losing a child/research will find a cure. This support is such a blessing!
