About this campaign
This t-shirt loudly proclaims the message that animal cruelty, abuse, neglect, and abandonment is NOT OK! Too many times we see society looking the other way and charges not being filed or prosecuted fully for those who harm animals. Please help us spread the word and stop the normalization of those who shrug their shoulders and look away when they hear about an animal being abused.
The idea for this shirt was born from an animal cruelty case in North Dakota in which some young men recorded themselves beheading a kitten with a shovel and laughing about it. They posted their own video on social media and our community was outraged. Sometimes you feel helpless in cases like these and so we decided to at least show our feelings by wearing them on t-shirt.
Proceeds from this t-shirt will be given to the North Dakota Raise for Rescues fundraiser. This fundraiser supports 21 501c3 animal rescues and shelter across the state of North Dakota as they all work to help stray, neglected, abandoned, and injured animals in need. The problem of stray and discarded pets has grown to epidemic proportions in North Dakota, and from what we are hearing, across the United States. One part of getting a handle on the pet overpopulation problem is to continue talking and educating about the need for responsible pet ownership.

After following so many cases of lost/abandoned dogs/cats, the dumping of those, the abuse inflicted on these animals dependent upon humans for their care, I support this campaign and will proudly wear my tee shirt in support. Thx CDHS!
I came across this post on the Bismarck news page from an anonymous poster, and after reading this, I became sick. The pure evil that exists today terrifies me. RIP Sweet Kitten
